ABOUT US

What is WellQuest PACE?

The PACE program was created to provide all-inclusive care for seniors to feel more independent, comfortable, and engaged in their own homes and communities while giving their caregivers an opportunity to rest and receive the emotional support they need. We provide coordinated primary, preventive, acute, and long-term care for adults aged 55 and older who qualify for a nursing home level of care. To join the program, individuals must live within a PACE service area and be able to safely remain in their home or community with the help of supportive services. Our program comes with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals who have extensive experience working with older adults and can’t wait to develop a personalized care plan tailored to your loved one’s unique needs.

Our team will work closely with the participant and the family (if appropriate) to provide a variety of services for their needs at home, at a PACE center, or in inpatient facilities. From our Day Health Center services to transportation, preventative care, and home health care, we provide a variety of services so that older adults can live safely and feel empowered with personalized care wherever they are.

PACE includes all services covered by Medicare and Medicaid, as long as they are approved by the older adult’s care team. In addition, PACE may offer extra medically necessary services that aren’t usually covered by Medicare or Medicaid, based on individual needs. Covered services can include things like doctor visits, home care, transportation, prescription medications, therapy, and more, which are all coordinated to support your loved one’s overall health and independence.

Why Choose WellQuest PACE?

At WellQuest PACE, we are a dedicated team that is proud to provide comfort, independence, and a strong support system to older adults. Caring for an aging loved one is a deeply meaningful responsibility, but it can also be overwhelming, draining, or even frustrating at times. The WellQuest PACE program in Arkansas is designed not only to support seniors with comprehensive medical and personal care, but also to provide peace of mind, relief, and support for caregivers.
Coordinated Care
Our program seeks to relieve the burden of coordinating care by taking on everything so families no longer have to juggle multiple doctors, appointments, and services. We handle it all, from primary care and medications to transportation and therapy.
Serving Participants Where They Thrive

Depending on your older adult’s needs, WellQuest PACE can even care for the participant in the comfort of their own home, at a PACE center for the day, or at an in-patient facility. Our service is based on helping a participant to thrive in their communities.

Respite and Emotional Support for Caregivers
We understand the emotional and physical toll caregiving can take. PACE offers respite care, Adult Day Care services, and caregiver resources so you can take time to rest and recharge, knowing your loved one is in good hands.
Improves Quality of Life and Reduces Emergencies

WellQuest PACE is a hub for social activity and helping participants engage in community through games, events, and more so they can make new connections and gain confidence. We also reduce hospital visits and emergencies by performing consistent, preventative care and regular check-ins, to help catch any health concerns early.

A Trusted Team By Your Side
As a family member, you’re not alone. The WellQuest PACE team works with you, listens to your concerns, and helps you navigate complex decisions with compassion and expertise.

Eligibility for Enrollment

To be eligible for enrollment in the WellQuest PACE program, participants must meet the following requirements:

Be 55 years of age or older

Reside within the WellQuest PACE service area
Be certified by the Arkansas Department of Human Services as needing a nursing home level of care

Be able to live safely in the community at the time of enrollment without putting their health or safety at risk

Medical Eligibility

Individuals eligible for WellQuest PACE require a nursing home level of care as determined by the Arkansas Department of Health and Human Services. A nursing home level of care requires that individuals must need assistance with daily living activities (ADL), including transferring/locomotion, eating, or toileting.Individuals can require assistance or supervision due to cognitive impairments to be eligible as well.

Financial Eligibility

If your income is above the Medicaid limit, you may still be eligible for PACE by setting up an Income Trust. This helps individuals qualify for Medicaid-funded services by directing excess income into a special account. A DHS caseworker can walk you through the process and explain how it works. Additionally, if you’re married and your spouse lives in the community, you may qualify for a division of income and resources, which helps protect your spouse’s financial well-being while still allowing you to receive the care you need.
